Empowering Young Minds on Gumbaynggirr Country
Supporting Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Students to improve their literacy and opportunities for success. We currently run 4 after school Goori Learning Centre’s each week during the school terms at various locations across the Coffs Coast and up to Grafton.
Each week we provide learning opportunities for our Aboriginal students to help them improve their reading and writing skills, engage with culture, provide tutoring to help with homework , learn local Gumbaynggirr Language, fitness activities, arts & crafts and much more.

At the heart of Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation, our aspiration is a future where Aboriginal youth are empowered through education and a profound connection to their culture. Our Goori Learning Centres play a crucial role in turning this vision into reality.
We strongly believe that with a good education and a strong connection to culture, our kids can excel in school and employment at the same rate as all Australian students.
